Work for all Classes Monday, 10/27/14 & Tuesday, 10/28/14

AICE Sociology

o   Read the packet on Education you received the previous class.  Answer the “Test Yourself” Questions on page 163 & 164 and answer all the questions & activities found on page 169 on your own sheet of paper.  You will need to keep the packets for reference, so the assignment should not be completed on there because I don’t want you turning in the whole packet to me.  There are a few extra Education packets on my desk for those students that were not here to receive one on Thursday of last week. Please do not ask the sub for another one if you forgot it.  I don't have extras and you will need to share. You may keep the packet and you may write notes on it if you wish. You should complete any remaining questions for homework and the assignments should be completed by Thursday, 10/30/14 when I come back.  I will be collecting it then, no excuses.

AICE Psychology
o   Use the class set of the Core Study 3.4 to complete your Case Study Guide Sheet (found on the blog) and also using the Original Held & Hein case found on the blog (links under this post).  You may do this on the form if you printed one out ahead of time, or on your own sheet of paper. You should also answer the questions on the back of the Core Study 3.4 packet on a separate sheet of paper.  You may continue to work on this for homework if necessary, but the packets from class may not be taken as they are a class set and I need it for the other students.  Take a picture of it if necessary.  All work should be completed by Wednesday, 10/29/14 when I come back.

US History Honors
o   Read and complete all sections of the Andrew Carnegie Mini Q packet and review your Vocabulary Terms from previous post, in class if you have time, and for homework, to prepare for the Vocab Quiz you will have on Wednesday (Terms 1-30).  I will also be collecting your inventor homework assignment from the previous class (found on blog previous post) on Wednesday, 10/29/14 as well (I did not forget). Handouts of The Carnegie Mini Q  are on my desk and you may write on all of the materials.  All work above is due on Wednesday, 10/29/14.

***UPDATE*** Sociology Paper 1 & 2 Review Materials

See below for the Rubrics (Mark Schemes) for the past exam questions file I created earlier.  Use this as part of your review tonight.  Mentally answer each question of Paper 2 on there and think of what you would use as your points/examples for each in addition to reviewing your terms.

Report to room 2219 again tomorrow immediately after checking in with 2nd period for attendance.  Be in room 2219 no later than 7:30am.  You need to start the exam right away.  Please spread the word via text and other social media options to any one you have as contacts in the class.  We need to make sure everyone gets this message.  Thanks, and good luck tomorrow.  You GOT THIS! ;)
